Back in the early 1980s, the Amberjack began running charters out of Biloxi, and she never stopped. Four decades and countless coolers of fish later, she's earned a title no other boat on this coast can claim: the premium charter boat in Mississippi.
Meet the star of the show. The Amberjack is a classic 41′ Hatteras Convertible — a legendary sportfishing hull built to handle the Gulf and comfortable enough to keep the whole family happy all day. She's one of the longest running charter boats in Mississippi, and she's still doing exactly what she was built to do: chase fish and make memories.

Captain GREG
Greg has spent his life on these waters. He started his career as the Deckhand on the Amberjack more than 40 years ago. After just 10 years in the cockpit, he bought the business and took the helm because he believed this classic still had the best hull and the best history on the coast. Ask him where the snapper are holding in July and he'll tell you before you finish the sentence. Greg’s the guy who'll put your kid on their first-ever fish and be just as excited as they are. Steady, patient, and about as knowledgeable as they come — when Greg’s at the wheel, you're in good hands.
Captain Cole
If Greg is the memory of the Amberjack, Cole is its engine. Ten years as First Mate and three more as Captain, Cole has run just about every kind of trip these waters can throw at you — dawn wreck runs, chaos when the mackerel are blitzing, and easy sunset cruises with a cooler and a view. He's the captain who keeps six rods untangled during a hot bite without breaking a sweat, and who makes first-timers feel like they've done this a hundred times. Warm, quick with a story, and relentless about finding the fish.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer 6 and 10-hour charters, plus sunset cruises. Half-days are great for families and first-timers; the longer trips head offshore to the wrecks and deeper structure.
We're based at the Palace Casino Resort Marina (158 Howard Avenue) just off Highway 90 near the Biloxi/Ocean Springs Bridge. Throughout the summer you'll also find us at the Biloxi Small Craft Harbor (679 Beach Blvd, Slip B28). We'll confirm your exact meeting spot when you book.
